Several very old records (1960's) from two sites in the north-east of the county.

Habitat
Warm dry grassy areas.
Foodplant
Common knapweed, spear thistle, creeping thistle, melancholy thistle and burdock spp.
Lifestage data
Leaf mining/spinning. Eggs laid on leaf. Larva initially mines, then
feeds externally in web under leaf, rolling leaf downwards. Pupates
in detritus or soil. |
